This 2019 project aims to grapple with the intersection between Political Correctness and Freedom of Speech. By symbolically silencing the popular figures found on the walls of Campo di Marte with a bandage, questions are raised about the value of self expression. At what point is limiting controversial discourse nothing more than censorship? To what degree does ideology matter when ideas are outlawed? Theme inspired by first hand education at a small, polarized, hyper-liberal college campus where callouts are more common than conversations.
